The 8th edition of the GTCO Food and Drink Festival has left an indelible mark on the culinary scene, showcasing a diverse array of flavors and cuisines that will linger in the memories of attendees. With its vibrant atmosphere and rich culinary experiences, the festival has cemented its place as a premier event for food enthusiasts, attracting Nigerians from far and wide.
Traditional Nigerian dishes like Amala, Iyan, Tastyfowl, Ofada, Bole, and roasted yam were on display,Other popular options included Smokey Jollof, corn, and Dundu.Amala Skye Canteen offered authentic Amala with ewedu and gbegiri at reasonable prices, served in traditional native plates.
Seasoned international chefs shared their expertise in cooking continental dishes.
Chefs included Cristain Duhalde, Chef Tilly, Tara Petterson, Thomas Zacharias, and others.Attendees enjoyed interactive sessions with questions and answers.
Children enjoyed bouncing castles and playing games,the festival fostered a community of food lovers and contributed to the growth of the culinary industry.
Nigerians eagerly anticipate the 9th edition in 2026, expected to be bigger and better than previous years.The festival's impact extends beyond the event itself, leaving a lasting legacy in the culinary world.
