St. Saviour's School, Ebute Metta, Holds the 3rd Annual Health Walk

Saint Saviour's School, situated in Ebute Metta, Lagos, on Saturday 24th of June 2023 held the Third  edition of its annual Health Walk, with the theme "Flourishing against all odds". 

The school celebrated this year's edition after a brief hiatus due to the unfortunate disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic that ravaged the world ìn 2020. 

The event returned with a renewed spirit of compassion and unity at the picturesque Railway Compound in Ebute-Metta.

The Health Walk served as the perfect venue for the joyous occasion as people from all walks of life graced the auspicious occasion.

Despite the ominous clouds looming overhead, the rain miraculously held off, allowing participants to revel in the joy of the day.

The event garnered overwhelming support from sponsors, including the passionate and dedicated Alumni of Saint Saviour's School. Their generous contributions and unwavering commitment to the cause played a vital role in making the event a resounding success. Notably, Cadbury, a renowned and beloved brand, Viewpoint Specialists Eye Centre joined hands with the school as proud sponsors further amplifying the impact of the health walk.

With a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere, the event was a testament to the power of unity and community spirit. Participants, adorned in ŕoyal blue t-shirts and sporting bright smiles, embarked on a heartwarming journey of wellness and compassion. As they walked side by side, laughter and cheerful conversations filled the air, fostering a sense of camaraderie and support. The walk not only promoted physical fitness but also served as a platform to raise funds for noble causes, ensuring a brighter future for the school.

This year's edition of the annual health walk organized by Endowment Fund Committee of Saint Saviour's School, Ebute-Metta, brought together a diverse and passionate community dedicated to making a positive change. With the gracious support of sponsors, including the school's alumni and Cadbury, the event was a true celebration of unity and compassion. 

As participants walked through the Railway Compound, the threat of rain faded into the background, allowing the joyful spirit of the day to shine through. This annual tradition serves as a powerful reminder of the collective strength we possess to uplift one another and create a better, healthier community.
