Hon. Lady Omorede Osifo, Immediate Past Deputy National Treasurer of the All Progressives Congress APC, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, H.E Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his overwhelming victory and re-election at the just concluded governorship election.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, Osifo described the governor as a “jinx breaker” who has ended the pattern of one-term administrations that had long characterized Ekiti politics.
“Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, BAO, is a jinx breaker. He has broken the jinx of one-term governors that has been prevalent in Ekiti over the years,” she said.
Osifo further described the governor as “God-sent to the people of Ekiti State,” noting that his re-election was a victory well deserved.
“I join all Progressives worldwide and his numerous wellwishers to say a big congratulations, Your Excellency,” she added.
BAO’s re-election makes him the first Ekiti governor in recent history to secure a second term at a stretch, a development many APC chieftains say reflects public confidence in his administration’s performance.
