Nigeria is set to gain global visibility in the field of protocol and diplomacy as renowned consultant and public speaker, Julius Lambert Nyananyo, prepares to participate in the 2026 World Protocol Conference in Budapest, Hungary. The highly anticipated international gathering will take place from May 11 to 13, bringing together protocol professionals, diplomats, and thought leaders from around the world.

Nyananyo, who currently serves as Director of Learning and Development at the Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria (ACPPN), as well as Chief Executive Officer of the St. Lambert School of Protocol and Diplomacy, will be one of the distinguished speakers at the event. He is scheduled to deliver a keynote address titled “Advancing the Protocol Profession: African Insights into Global Partnerships and Learning.”

His presentation will focus on Africa’s evolving influence in the protocol profession, highlighting how the continent’s unique perspectives and experiences are contributing to the development of global standards and fostering more effective international partnerships. The session is expected to provide valuable insights into how cross-cultural understanding and knowledge exchange can strengthen diplomatic and professional engagements worldwide.

As part of the conference programme, participants will also embark on a study tour of the United Nations Office in Vienna. This component is designed to enhance attendees’ practical understanding of international diplomacy, institutional protocol, and intercultural relations within a global context.

Widely respected for his expertise in protocol management, leadership development, and strategic communication, Nyananyo’s participation underscores Nigeria’s growing prominence in the international protocol community. His presence at the conference is anticipated to stimulate meaningful dialogue, build stronger global networks, and promote excellence in professional practice.

The World Protocol Conference remains one of the leading platforms for advancing knowledge, sharing best practices, and shaping the future of protocol and diplomatic engagement across borders.
