Aquafina Takes Centre Stage at the 11th Access Bank Lagos City Marathon with “Run am with your Padi” Campaign

Seven-Up Bottling Company (SBC) will once again participate in the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, with Aquafina taking centre stage as the company’s lead brand at the 11th edition of the event on 14 February 2026.

Since the marathon’s launch in 2016, SBC has maintained a consistent presence, supporting the growth of what has become one of the most recognisable sporting events in West Africa. Over the years, the partnership has served as a platform to promote fitness, endurance, and healthy lifestyles.

At the 2026 marathon, Aquafina leads the company’s activation under the campaign theme “Run am with your Padi.” The campaign reflects Aquafina’s positioning as a dependable hydration partner and highlights the role of support and companionship in completing endurance challenges.

According to the company, Aquafina’s lead role this year builds on its longstanding association with the marathon and reinforces the brand’s alignment with health and fitness values.

Commenting on the event, Funso Elubeku , Assistant General Manager, at Seven-Up Bottling Company, said the marathon represents the spirit of resilience and community that the company seeks to champion through its brands. He added that hydration remains a critical component of peak performance for runners.

To further engage participants, the company disclosed that the first ten groups to finish the 10-kilometre race will each receive a One-million-naira cash reward, an initiative aimed at recognising effort and encouraging participation.

Alongside Aquafina, 7Up and Supa Komando will also feature at the marathon, maintaining the company’s multi-brand presence at the event over the years.

As the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon enters its 11th year, Seven Up Bottling Company says it remains committed to supporting initiatives that advance fitness and wellness across Nigeria.
