The National Chairman of the National Agricultural Commodities Project, NACP, Amb. Dr. John Adekorede Aderibigbe has lost his dear Mother to the cold hands of death.
The death of the Mother, Mrs. Felicia Funmilayo Aderibigbe came as rude shock to the United Nations, UN, Peace Ambassador, who is yet to come terms with the demise of his Mother.
Aderibigbe, the National President of the National Carrot Growers, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria, NACAGPROMAN, described the death of his dear Mother as shocking and a bitter pill to swallow for him.
He further described the Mother as a virtuous Woman, who usually prays fervently for her Children, passionate and cherishes all her Children.
"No doubt, this is huge loss to me, as this has left me devastated, but I find solace in Isaiah 57:1, which states that the righteous and merciful men are taken away, with people not realizing they are being taken away from the evil to come, to enter into peace and rest.
"This passage offers comfort, and further suggest that the early departure of my Mum is from the earthly troubles, and a divine act of protection from future calamities and temptations".
Speaking further, Aderibigbe said Two decades from now, he never envisaged that his Mum would have bid the world farewell, but God giveth and God taketh.
Tributes and condolence messages from friends, political and business associates have been coming in, urging the renowned Agriculture Expert to brace up, praying that God will give him and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Barrister Damilola Towobola, an associate of Aderibigbe in his condolence message, wrote; "My Dear Leader, As you navigate this difficult season, I pray that God Himself will fill the painful vacuum her departure has created. May His comforting presence surround you and your family, and may His love lighten the heaviness in your hearts. “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”* (Psalm 34:18).
"May her soul find perfect rest, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, abide with you now and always. Please be assured of my deepest sympathy", Towobola wrote.
The Burial is scheduled for 19th and 20th February, 2026, with the Wake Keep and Interment taking place on Thursday, 19th February at Ile Baba Airforce, Imisi Oremeji Street, Owode Ijako, Ogun State by 3pm.
On Friday 20th February, the Burial amd Outing Service takes at the same venue, while Reception follows immediately after Interment at First Baptist Church, Agoro, Near Community Primary School, Owode, Ogun State.
