Lagos Mainland Local Government, under the leadership of Executive Chairman Mayor Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, marked a significant milestone in its commitment to quality education with the distribution of free exercise books to pupils across public primary schools. The event underscored the administration's focus on investing in the future of children through enhanced educational support.

The Chairman went further that the administration has distributed 500 free GCE forms to enable students to further their studies, he also said Infrastructural Improvements projects include renovation of U.N.A. Primary School, Oyingbo, and addressing flooding issues at Kadara Primary School to create conducive learning environments.
He then said digital empowerment plans are underway to establish ICT centers powered by solar energy in all public primary schools to equip pupils with 21st-century skills.
Mayor Jubril Kolawole Emilagba expressed appreciation to teachers for their dedication and to parents for their partnership in education. He encouraged pupils to utilize the exercise books diligently and pledged that the initiative would be an annual program reflecting the council's enduring commitment to educational growth.
