The Lagos Mainland Chairman-Elect, Hon. Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, has expressed his gratitude to the residents of Mainland for believing and trusting in him to become the Chairman-Elect of the Local Government. This was made known while delivering his acceptance speech at his campaign office in the local government.
The speech reads:
"With deep humility and profound gratitude, I extend my sincere appreciation to the good people of Lagos Mainland LG for your overwhelming support and trust in the just concluded local government elections. This victory is not mine alone; it is a victory for every man, woman, and youth who believes in a greater Lagos Mainland. Your voices were heard loud and clear at the ballot box, and together, we have set a new course for progress, unity, and people-centered leadership.
I thank the leadership of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), my Vice Hon. Wale Momoh, our dedicated campaign team, party loyalists, leaders, and every voter who stood by our ideals of growth, peace, and development. As we move forward, I pledge to serve with integrity, transparency, and dedication. This mandate is a call to service, and together, we will build a Lagos Mainland LG that works for all. Thank you for your trust. The journey to a better tomorrow begins now.
