The Chairmanship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC Hon. Jubril Emilagba has promised and outlined plans to continue from where the incumbent Chairman Hon. Omolola Essien will stop,he made this known while speaking with media while casting his vote in his ward at Desalu Estate in the local government.
Emilagba while speaking to the media appreciated LASIEC on the preparations they made for this election and also thank the people that came out to vote for their party.
He said they are voting their party because of what the people are witnessing in the national, in the state, even in the grassroots,he said as a serving Vice Chairman, our people want a good continuity from where the incumbent Chairman stopped.
Emilagba additional said his plan for the local government as he said in campaign program, that he has a monthly food program for the people,and the community is facing water challenge which he has started working on,as they are preparing to do a motorized borehole to channel to about 34th street in each area,and also preparing monthly stipends for the people due to rising cost of food,also preparing to go into agriculture because he is an agric man and want to invest into agriculture to support the people.
He went further that what he promised during his campaign that himself, the vice chairman, the councillors, that when they are singing, they are not preparing to dance until 100 days in office, and have prepared to do the road at Oto the road that links to the PHC at Oto which they have prepared and even took an approver from the state to construct Jeba Street right from Osholake down to the shore.
