All
is set for the official presentation of the highly anticipated book, Building
a Resilient Church in Today’s World, authored and edited by Rev.
Dr. Sunday Oladejo, alongside the formal launch of a new ministry,
dedicated to equipping churches and believers for relevance in today’s dynamic
world.
The dual event will bring together
faith leaders, scholars, ministry professionals, and guests from across Nigeria
and beyond. The day promises to be a moment of spiritual reflection, strategic
engagement, and prophetic commissioning.
Building a Resilient Church in Today’s World is
a comprehensive and timely volume authored by Rev. Dr. Oladejo in collaboration
with 16 distinguished contributors, including pastors, theologians, and
ministry experts from the Nigerian Baptist Convention and other Christian
bodies. With deep insights on leadership, discipleship, spiritual formation,
innovation, and team building, the book speaks directly to the challenges and
opportunities facing today’s church in a fast-changing world.
The
work is already being described as a “must-read” for pastors, church workers,
Christian educators, and believers passionate about sustainable church growth
and impact.
The
event will also mark the launch of a new ministry initiative; the Amazing Grace Evangelistic Ministry,
which will focus on prayer, counseling and spiritual mentoring, spiritual
retreats and seminars, outreach programmes and discipleship development.
This
new ministry, born out of Rev. Oladejo’s nearly three decades of pastoral
experience, is envisioned to be a catalyst
for revival, relevance, and resilience in Christendom in Nigeria, across
Africa and the diaspora.
The
event will feature keynote addresses, book reviews, and a panel discussion with
some of the contributing authors; worship sessions, and a prophetic charge.
Expected dignitaries include senior denominational leaders, seminary
representatives, ministry founders, and media professionals.
