Tension and disbelief filled the courtroom of the High Court of the FCT, Bwari Judicial Division today as the Nigeria Police Force and nine others once again failed to appear in a contempt proceeding filed by embattled fintech entrepreneur, Obol Jesam Michael.
The matter, tagged “IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION FOR COMMITTAL FOR CONTEMPT: OBOL JESAM MICHAEL v. THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE & 9 ORS”, was slated for hearing before Hon. Justice Bagudu.
However, while E.A. Esin Esq., counsel for the applicant, was present and ready to proceed, the courtroom was stunned by the complete absence of the respondents—neither the Police nor any of the nine other parties were represented by legal counsel.
The court was informed that the Police had ignored no fewer than three separate court orders directing them to produce Jesam Michael in court, raising serious concerns about the deliberate defiance of lawful judicial authority.
“This is a direct assault on the integrity of the judiciary,” said Esin, who lamented the police’s continued disregard for the court's authority. “The law must not be mocked, and this Court must not be taken for granted.”
Observers are now questioning the motive behind the Police’s silence and non-compliance:
Why are the Police avoiding court proceedings?
Why are they disobeying repeated lawful orders from a competent court?
Why is a man, yet to be convicted of any crime, languishing in detention while the confessed culprit walks free?
Sources close to the case claim the man at the center of the controversy, Mr. Jesam Michael—Founder of Afriq Arbitrage Systems—has been illegally held despite court orders for his release or presentation. The true suspect, a former employee alleged to have looted investor funds, is reportedly at large.
Critics say the Nigeria Police Force, known to have a strong legal unit, is deliberately dodging the judicial process in what appears to be an attempt to avoid accountability or frustrate the court’s ability to rule effectively.
“This is no longer just a legal issue—it’s a blatant human rights violation,” a rights advocate present in court remarked. “Justice must not only be done—it must be seen to be done.”
With each passing day, the case of Jesam Michael raises broader concerns about respect for rule of law and the troubling silence of law enforcement in the face of judicial scrutiny.
As proceedings were adjourned, the court indicated that it would consider the necessary legal steps to enforce compliance and uphold the sanctity of the judiciary.
Will justice prevail—or will power continue to trample due process?
Nigerians are watching.

ReplyDeleteJesam Michael is a wicked and heartless scammer, who scammed me and other investors in COTP. As if that was not enough, he set up AAS and scammed investors from 127 countries and wanted to run away with investors money to a foreign country, but Luck ran out on him and he was caught by the police.
DeleteIf you think Jesam Michael is a good person and innocent, it shows that you're ignorant and does not really know who Jesam Michael is.
I sold my car and invested the money in AAS, uptill now, I cannot get my money back, because Jesam Michael lied that he had a liver transplant which was a complete set up together with his staff Abayomi to scam us of our money.
Jesam Michael, refund investors money. You have purnished investors enough, some investors have even died and you can be rest assured that their blood will certainly be on your head. If you escape judgement from man, you can never escape judgement from God. Be warned.
We invested with jesam Michael tell him to refund investors money,Abayomi works for him,all money was send to jesam account not Abayomi,no evidence of liver transplant,he said our money was lock in the liquidity pool that him jesam does not have access to it,how come he is accusing Abayomi that he stole 87million dollar
DeleteNigeria Police Force—widely known to possess a robust legal department Now he is lost all trust all , all world watching
ReplyDeleteI LOVE AAS MY DEAR FRIEND
DeleteIt's really appalling having to witness how compromised the government agencies, also the entire Nigeria system sticking in corruption.
ReplyDeleteEFCC and the Nigeria police force are upholded and saddled with the responsibility call to duty and to maintain peace and equity.
Unfortunately, it is not so with EFCC and Nigeria police force, what a shame.
How hard is it to do what is right for once in that country rather than becoming a public mess and bunch of irresponsible educated illiterate with a criminal mindset; who by chance mistakenly found their way into a system and hijacked it. Using the powers of their offices to threaten the fundamental human rights of the citizens.
With what EFCC and the Police is doing to Jesam Michael, is clearly an indication that no one is safe! My right can no longer be protected
You detent the victim Jesam Michael and allowed the thief Abayomi to walk freely is totally insane and unprofessional in every eye of view.
The world is watching over this case! All the real investors all over of about 139 countries are watching and we shall further approach the government of our each countries to sue you the efcc and the Nigeria police, if you both agencies keep obstructing the law from taking it course.
Release Jesam Michael
Justice for Jesam
Protect our investments from the thief Abayomi.
Let the court decide the fate of Jesam Michael and stop blaming and name-calling EFCC and the Nigerian police. The Law enforcement agencies are not responsible for whatever actions the court takes in Jesam Michael's case but the evidence presented by the parties.

ReplyDeleteMy Post/Comments on Pentalk:
The Nigerian law enforcement agents and agencies must understand that nobody is above the law. They should do things in a professional manner to earn the respect of the society and portray themselves to be men and women of integrity. They should not use power to trample upon justice. They should know and bear in mind that the ultimate power belongs to God. The fact that the case in question is with the Police and EFCC ab-initio should be expected to have made the whole thing easy and possible for the two institutions to handle; if there is no personal interest involved. Let them do the needful and the right thing by going after the very criminal – Abayomi Segun Oluwasesan, instead of punishing the victim and allowing the culprit to walk about as a free man. We the Investors in Afriq Arbitrage System say: “Free Our CEO, Obol Jesam Michael”. He is not the criminal. Abayomi Segun Oluwasesan is the Criminal. Go after Abayomi Segun Oluwasesan and release our CEO Jesam Michael.
Free Jesam Michael
Free Jesam Michael
Free Jesam Michael.

This can only happen in Nigeria. Where the confessed and guilty one Abayomi is granted bail while the innocent bcos of refusal to compromise with the power that be is refused bail or set free. I hail my country, though it hurts. One can see that it's not the common man that tarnishes the image off the country but those in power and authority with their actions. Nigeria will be great again if they are all flushed out from the system they have made corrupt
ReplyDeleteFREE JESAM

ReplyDeleteGod no go shame us!🙏
God bless AGC, her CEO, Tech team, Admins and all Spartans!
Does all these shameful revelations about the EFCC and Police Office using her office and s3x or bottom belly power to intimidate CEO of AGC, JESAM MICHAEL?
ReplyDeleteIf the Police Boss knows and is quiet, then it's a shame on the Nigerian government.
All you guys supporting jesam Michael are criminals and thieves. We know jesam Michael is paying most of you and your tricks cannot fool the government. Tell jesam Michael to go pay aljazera to post him on their news, jesam Michael can never escape justice. Gone the days you will be manipulating real investors to support you online. Criminal gangs...
ReplyDeleteNo peace for the wicked. Jesam Michael will never have peace. He will rot in jail for killing people and rendering others useless for scamming them.
ReplyDeleteJesam Michael it will never be well with you since you hardened your heart like Pharaoh to scammed all poor and many died still you refused to refund our money in peace. Surely heart attack is your portion . You are doomed for life
ReplyDeleteFor a man who promised safety of my funds, claimed funds are safe with binance when he only had personal account with binance, claimed people can get refund of funds anytime but blocked me after requesting for refund of my $150,000 in 6 different accounts, all I have to say is that there is a curse on him and every seeds that comes out of his loin except if I did not work for my money. His labour will continually be in vain. He will not reap the fruit of his labour and his end will be worse than his beginning.
ReplyDeletethis man JESAM MICHAEL is a son of GOD please set him free ,,a real thief is ABAYOM SEGUN OLUWASESAN
ReplyDeleteSom of lucifer you mean. It shall never be well with Jessam Micheal
DeleteThe reason EFCC want to jail an innocent man Jesam Michael ubi, the CEO of afriq arbitrage system limited instead of the culprit ABAYOMI SEGUN OLUWASESAN who stoled our fund, confessed his crime is what I don't really understand. Free innocent Jesam Michael and arrest ABAYOMI SEGUN OLUWASESAN THE CULPRIT.
ReplyDeleteJesam Michael Ubi is a demon that stole our monies claiming to be innocent and innocent people are busy supporting him because they are brainwashed that he is the saint but his even more than the devil pay me my capital like you always say we have no business with anyone we had business with Jesam Michael Ubi and AAS we don't care about what ever that happened in your system what we need is our capital with full compensation you have been holding our monies for years now we did not invest our money in abayomi we invest our money in AAS
ReplyDeleteIt battles me when I see people who are suffering and smiling defending this thief called Jesam Michael if he was not capable of controlling what was in his hands he shouldn't have ventured into such business but I see the whole system was scripted but building on lies will never stay for long people that are suffering and smiling claiming Jesam Michael Ubi is innocent if their capital is returned to them would they give back the money to Jesam Michael Ubi NEVER but they are here defending scammer like they don't want their capital back
ReplyDeleteEveryday for the thief one day for the owner
DeleteJESCAMMMMM AKA THE BIG THIEF!!!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HE CALLED HIMSELF OVER AND OVER! HE IS A WICKED WICKED INDIVIDUAL, AFTER WIPING OUT THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY OF PERSONAL FUNDS MR SCAMMER STARTS UP HIS OWN SHIT COIN AAST
ReplyDeleteTHATS AN ABSOLUTE MONEY GRAB. MOVING FORWARD HE IS STILL PROMOTING HIS SCAMMING COIN TO STEAL MORE MONEY FROM THE WEAK MINDED, LET HIM ROT IN JAIL BUT BEFORE HE DOES GOD WILL RECOVER OUR INVESTMENT TO PAY BACK ALL INVESTORS. WHATS SAD IS THAT HES SPENDING INVESTORS MONEY CONSTANTLY INSTEAD OF RETURNING MONEY THAT DOESNT BELONG TO HIM
The best option for Jescammer was to refund investor's funds by entering into plea bargain and save himself these nonsense
ReplyDeleteJesam Micheal is a notorious scammers he scammed me $10,031 dollar

DeleteFunny People 😂
ReplyDeleteLet’s be real the reason the police are avoiding court isn’t because of outside pressure. It’s because they’re scared of the truth.
They have no evidence. They know it. I know it. And that’s exactly why they’re not showing up. They’re not running from people they’re running from responsibility. From justice. From the law itself.
Because when you walk into a courtroom, you’re expected to speak the truth under oath. And they simply can’t do that. The moment they’re questioned, their lies will fall apart like a house of cards.
One by one, they’re backing out. Refusing to testify. Why? Because deep down, they know they can’t face the consequences of their own false accusations. They’re afraid of being exposed. Afraid of accountability.
What kind of justice is this? When those who are supposed to protect the law are the first to hide from it?
If they truly had evidence, they’d walk into court with their heads high. But instead, they stay quiet, avoid the stand, and hope the truth never comes to light. But it will.
Shame on them. And shame on anyone who believes the law can be twisted or fooled. Because no matter how long it takes the truth always comes out. And when it does, not even a uniform will shield them from the justice they tried to run from.
For the first time i thought Nigeria will be known for something good but low and behold Jesam turn out to be the biggest scammer and i wonder how much he has paid you to speak good of him. Because if you really invest in AAS you will never say this man is good. I pray our EFCC and court will fight for investors and refund all Nigerians their money, it will serve as a lesson to anyone that think they will just come and dube Nigerian their hard earn money and go free. Kudus to EFCC i pray for justice for investors.
