Stanbic IBTC, a leading financial institution has rewarded its customers with cash prizes at the Reward4Saving 3.0 Grand finale, with 70 customers rewarded with ₦100,000 each, 7 customers with 1million, and 7 customers with 2million naira each, held at the Bank's head office in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The ongoing Reward4Saving Promo has so far rewarded over 1,500 customers since 2021 when the initiative kicked-off, with the promo aims to foster a culture of saving among Nigerians by recognising and rewarding individuals who consistently save.
Executive Director Stanbic IBTC,Olu Delano in his welcome address said the gathering demonstrates the Bank’s commitment to their numerous customers where Hundred thousand of the bank’s client have attended and benefited from the promo over the last couple of years and today they are privileged to reward 84 customers.
Delano also noted that since 2021 the bank has embarked on the journey with aim of fostering a saving culture and savings habit which one of the beneficiaries has been saving with the bank for Fifteen years as well as another for Ten years and the benefits is the habit doing things consistently over a period of time which their customers have been doing.
He then appreciated their customers for coming through and in Stanbic IBTC their purpose is to enable customers to live a better life and it's for a period of time and their customers have been doing very well over the years.
A two time winner of the promo Afolabi Saheed while appreciating Stanbic IBTC said he received a call while sleeping that he won 2million Naira in the reward4savings promo and he didn't believe it and he started receiving calls from the bank which he later got to the train station in Lagos with a first class ticket sponsored by the bank,and he was still nervous and called his wife to let her know where he is and which he later realised when he got to the bank’s headquarters in Lagos that it is reality he truly won 2million naira. He then appreciated the bank and promised to bring more people to the bank to start saving because he won in Season 2 and also won in Season 3.
In his closing remark Mr. Emmanuel appreciated everyone who made Season 3 possible which the main purpose is to encourage a saving culture and as long as a number of customers keep increasing the bank is achieving the purpose which the bank is grateful to all the beneficiaries for responding to the saving culture.
Highpoint of the event was the presentation of cheques to the beneficiaries.
