Stanbic IBTC Holdings, a leading financial services group committed to fostering growth and innovation in Nigeria's economic landscape held its much-anticipated annual event, the Youth Leadership Series (YLS).
This year marks the seventh year, the YLS which serves as a beacon of inspiration and empowerment for the nation's youth, offering invaluable insights and strategies for personal and professional success. The program with the theme, “The Growth Code: Unlocking the Secrets and Strategies to Personal and Professional Success" had seasoned panelists including the Chief Executive, Stanbic Holdings,Dr. Demola Sogunle,Bisola Aiyeola,Salem King, Omon Anenih, Oyinkansola Oni, Pheelz and Olive Enodi as the host at the prestigious Multipurpose Hall of the University of Lagos.
The Chief Executive Stanbic Holdings,Dr. Sogunle in his keynote address explained how he applied at Stanbic IBTC in 1989 and gave him the opportunity as a consultant while doing his PHD program and had 3 other job which he believes the youth between the ages of 16-35 have unbelievable capacity to do multiple things right.
Sogunle encouraged the youths not to stop continous learning so that it can get them into higher learning in continous growth.
He charged them to always energizer other to operate at the top level,to search for a better idea everyday,they shouldn't get comfortable and to be very candid and be truthful to themselves.
The First Panel Session titled "Hacking the Growth Coded in the Chosen Career" had the popular Actress, Bisola Aiyeola, and a youth development advocate, Oyinkansola Oni encouraging the youths not to feel entitled to anything and must constantly prove themselves anywhere they go.
The Second Panel Sesssion titled "The Catalyst to Run a Successful Business in this Current Terrain" had the popular content Creator,Salem King, and interior Decorator,Omon Anenih encouraged participants to always start a journey with the end in mind and always find time to shutdown to unwind to recharge to Unlocking the secret and strategies to personnel and professional success.
In addition to the enlightening panel discussions, attendees enjoyed a captivating performance by Phillip Kayode Moses, popularly known as Pheelz, a prominent Nigerian record producer, singer, and songwriter.
