Ikeja Pearl Lions Club District 404B2 Donates Educational Learn Pads,Sick Bay and Relieve Food Packs To Lagos Residents

As part of efforts to support the government and provide humanitarian services and strengthening communities,  the Ikeja Pearl Lions Club District 404B2, Nigeria under the leadership of Lion Temisanren Opadele has donated Learn pads,Environmental instruments to Anifowose Nursery and Primary School in Ikeja Lagos.


The Club also shared cooked food items to the vulnerable people in Ikeja Community.



The event had in attendance District Governor Lion Club Prof. Emmanuel Fagbohun PJMF, NLCF.Chairperson Region 7 Lion Kemisola Afuye MJF, NLCF.Zone 7A Chairperson Lion Yetunde Balogun MJF,NLCF. Two members of the Board of Directors Ikeja Pearl Lions Club Lion Bose Uwadia PJMF, NLCF. Lion Mbang Gabriel PJMF, NLCF and members of the club.


The District Governor Lion Prof. Emmanuel Fagbohun in his remarks said Ikeja Pearl has done one of the core activities of the club and also commended the President Lion Temisanren Opadele and Members of the club for deeming it fit in deciding to give to the needy in the society. 


The President Ikeja Pearl Lions Club 23/24 LSY, Lion Temisanren Opadele in her words said the club has been doing a lot to the school in the past and still deemed it fit to call the head of school for their needs which she said Learning Pad is needed for the Nursery Children and to the glory of God the project got actualized today. This Core project is important to her because students who use learn pads develop better critical thinking skills, improves writing abilities and stronger communication skills. Like the saying goes catch them when they are young, so what better time to equip the students with this than now. Our club is looking forward to doing more greater things for Anifowose Nursery and Primary School in the future.

The Head Teacher of the School, Mrs. Christina Awe appreciated the club for not leaving the school at all times and promised to make a good use of the learning pads and other items.

The train then moved to Adekunle Fajuyi Ikeja Lagos where the President and District Governor donated cooked food and water to the vulnerable people in the area,then proceeded to commission its Region project at Ikeja Primary School, renovating and commissioning the sick bay in the school.
