2023: FC Ramond Boss Urges Tinubu To Unite With Yoruba Leaders To Actualize His Presidential Ambition, Clamour For Yoruba Nation

By Akinwale Kasali

As the 2023 General Election gathers momentum, with politicking taking center stage, Oluwaremilekun Adebanjo, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ramond Football Club has called on the All Progressives Congress, APC,  Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bury his hatchet with Yoruba Leaders and Unite with them.

Adebanjo said it was necessary for Tinubu to meet all Yoruba Leaders including Obas, Traditional Rulers, Technocrats and Yoruba Nation agitators to bring his dream to reality.

He added that the Northerners cannot be trusted that he could be betrayed just the way Late Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola by the Military Dictators in 1993 leading to the annulment of the Election he won outrightly.

“Assuming Tinubu has backed the agitation for Yoruba Nation we won’t be in this situation we are today. It is not too late for Tinubu to meet the likes of Pa Banji Akintoye, Yemi Osinbajo, the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, Ooni of Ife, HRM Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and other Yoruba Kings in navigating the way forward.

“Tinubu needs to listen to the word of reasoning as this Hausa, Fulanis and the Military cannot be trusted. He should go down memory lane on how MKO Abiola was betrayed, we can’t continue like this. It is time for the Yorubas to take the Bull by the Horn and change the narratives”.

Adebanjo stressed that Tinubu has paid the price and meant well for the nation and it was time for all Yorubas to rally around him but the North and the Military are infiltrating the Yorubas in pitching us against each other, but it is time for the Yorubas to think ahead and fight for its own Nation.

“The Fight for a Yoruba Nation is every Yoruba Man priority irrespective of State. Assuming Tinubu has supported the agitation for Yoruba Nation we won’t be at this junction, but it is never late than never for Tinubu to back the Yoruba Nation agitators.

“The most important thing is for him to unite with Yoruba Leaders because there is no place like home. Yoruba need to reason and create an enclave for itself different from the entity called Nigeria.

“The Hausa, Fulani and the Military never meant well for us, so we need to have a Yoruba Nation. It is not that we are not going to deal with them, that is the Hausa, Fulani, other tribes and the Military, but Yoruba will have a stand and stand tall among the comity of nations of its able to chart a wait forward in having its nation”, Adebanjo stressed.

The Football administrator said he is an ardent lover of Tinubu putting into consideration his antecedents, but it necessary for him to be at peace with his people and unite them for the battle ahead.

He furthermore added that if Tinubu can quash his Presidential Ambition and agitate for Yoruba Nation it will a move in the right direction as he is the only person that has been tested and trusted among Yoruba Leaders that could lead the Yoruba Race.

“Assuming Tinubu has joined Prof. Banji Akintoye, Gani Adams, Sunday Igboho and others in diaspora to bring the Yoruba Nation dream to reality, he would have been the Leader of Yoruba Nation.

“It is not too late for him to retrace his steps and embrace peace by uniting all the Yoruba Leaders”, Adebanjo stressed.
