The newly crowned Olowo of Oworosoki King, Oba Babatunde Saliu Elebo II has felicitated with muslims in oworosoki community, lagos state and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Oba Saliu made this known to newsemen yesterday in his palace that we should embrace peace and harmony during this festive period and after.
Oba Saliu also charged all Muslim faithful to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan, which are love, peace and justice to their daily living and through that, contribute to the unity and development of the nation.
He urged oworosoki residents to make individual sacrifices by given out to the less privileged in this yeiltude season for the betterment of oworosoki kingdom and lagos state.
Lastly, Oba Saliu enjoin muslims to use this period to uphold the spiritual benefit of the celebration by extending a hand of friendship and solidarity across all divides and imbibing the spirit of sacrifice and obedience to the higher authority as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and upheld by Prophet Muhammed.
