A Source who begged for anonymity from Zamfara State University Said, " His Excellency Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle directs the mass recruitment of Academic and Non academic staff into the State University Talata Mafara.
This new development is set to improve the standard of teaching in the state and also the number of qualified lectures in the classes ,this will directly translate to increase in number of good students both academically and morally. " Source emphasize.
" It was also brought to the notice of the public that His Excellency also ordered the mass recruitment of non academic staff, this is to ensure that the laboratory, workshops and all non academic activities of the university are up to standard with that of great universities across the country and beyond
According to the source, "His Excellency also Direct the Vice Chancellor to open new faculties and College of Health sciences where Bachelor degrees will be awarded such as Medical Laboratory science, Nursing, Radiography and MBBS. The faculty of Pharmaceutical sciences in due time as Quickly as possible.
This activities will be actualize by the administration of his Excellency Dr Bello Muhammed Matawalle,to ensure the citizen of Zamfara have good access to a standardized educational system, " the source reveals.
It was also gathered that, Governor Matawalle is pursuing some assistance from TETFUND for the University Just as he secured ₦1b grant for Abdu Gusau polytechnic Talata Mafara.
