In making its constituents enjoy the dividends of democracy, Apapa iganmu, the Chairman Hon.Dr. Mrs Funmilayo Akande Muhammed in her generosity and making her Peoples Self-reliance, she ended a week long 100days empowerment program with presentation of mini buses, freezers,tailoring machines,makeup kits,grinding Machines,clippers and cameras.
This is to expand and enhance their existing businesses to reduce the menace of unemployment and improve the life and standard of living in the community.
Hon.Muhammed urged all the beneficiaries to take advantage of the empowerment to upgrade their level and its been given free and not to sell.
She also said the empowerment and financial assistance is to improve the life and to reward them of their dedication and commitment to the party and administration.
She went further that her next line of action is to build more roads for the betterment of the residents of Apapa iganmu Lcda.
The house of Representatives member Apapa Hon.Muftau Egberoungbe said the Chairman Hon. Olufunmilayo Akande Muhammed has set a standard in the grassroot for the various ideas and concept that has brought succour to good people of Apapa iganmu Lcda. He also said the Chairman is the best thing that has ever happened to Apapa Iganmu, he implore all the beneficiaries not to sell what is being given to them.
The Hod Women and poverty Alleviation Wapa Mrs Ogundare Temitope Debora commended the Chairman for her great strides to make the people of Apapa iganmu enjoy the dividends of democracy which the Chairman has started preparation since July this year.
The Chairman then urge the good people of Apapa iganmu to pay their rates and local government levies as she is assuring them of transparent government that will give them good value at all times.
