Governor Sanwo Olu Urges Christian Leaders To Emulate, Exhibit Jesus Christ Like Attitude

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has urged Church leaders not oppress or overpower others with their authority instead they should serve others as demonstrated by Jesus Christ. 

The Governor made the assertion at the 25th Anniversary of Christ Apostolic Church Vineyard of Mercy Districts coordinating Council with the Theme 'A Peculiar People'

Represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Christain Matters Very. Reverend. Bukola Adeleke used Phillipians 2 Vs 7 to 8 "He made himself of no reputation, taking inform of a ban servant and coming in the likeness of men and found in appearance as a man,he humbled himself and became obedience to the point of death of the cross". He implored church leaders to be vessel of honour sanctify and useful for the master for righteousness, faith and love.

The Governor appealed to the Church leaders and clergymen to continue to pray for Lagos and the nation for God's peace to reign while preaching the message of love peaceful co-existence and humaneous relationships among members and also engage their members to be law abiding and perform their Civic responsibilities that will support and promote good governance and development. 

He then assured them that his administration will continue to provide a conducive environment for practice of religious beliefs and work seriously to create opportunities for everyone to realise their full potentials.

He then congratulated Pastor Anu Ojo,the minister incharge and members of the Christ Apostolic Church Vineyard of mercy for the 25th Year Anniversary Celebrationof establishmentof their Chapter.

The Superintendent,CAC Vineyard of Mercy Pastor Anu Ojo in his welcome address said the 25th anniversary celebration is to remember God's mercy,favour and benefits in a world full of conflicting interests. He said they are grateful to God for holding the church together for this long and so appreciated the Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
