...Challenges Educational Stakeholders In Delivering Qualitative Education

Education is pivotal and its importance is limitless in ensuring quality of life for all children and a better society and a better society for all was the submission of the Lagos State First Lady Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu at the 50th Anniversary Dinner of Victoria Children Schools Ijeshatedo Lagos.
The first lady spoke through the wife of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Christian Matters, Mrs Comfort Adeleke while speaking on the anniversary theme 'Delivering Quality Education In Uncertain Times ' said is no doubt apt and timely considering the myriad of challenges confronting the nation,but there cannot be a better time than now to put the issues around delivering of quality education on the front burner.
She went further saying with the advent of Covid-19 pandemic, the education system was dirupted and it necessitated the need for creativity in exploring the windows of opportunity in the midst of that adversity. She said within the period of lockdown,the Lagos State Government through the ministry of education introduced online classes,as well as special radio programmes for students at home. She then charged stakeholders in the education sector to continue to employ ingenuity in addressing the challenges confronting the sector.
She commended the contribution of private institutions such as Victoria Schools to educational advancement of the younger ones,and also seize the opportunity to urge stakeholders in the education sectors to make every effort to ensure that they are not churning out halk baked graduates.
Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu saluted the vision courage and tenacity of the propeirtress of Victoria Schools,Lady R.A Adewuyi Jp and her team for working hard and still Continue to mold leaders that can stand the rigor of leadership and inturn contribute to the building an egalitarian society.
