Lagos State Wastewater Management Office, in an effort to ensure compliance with the management and disposal of wastewater, has expanded her operations from the existing 11 to 13 Zones, and two new Specialised Units.
The General Manager, Wastewater Management Office, Engr. Adebola Matanmi, who disclosed this in a release issued on Tuesday, added that the newly created zones and units would expand the area of coverage of the Agency’s operations and improve service delivery.
He, therefore, charged Heads of the new Zones and Units to see their appointments as a call to duty and an opportunity to contribute their quota to the actualisation of the Office's mandate in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of the present administration, especially as it affects the second pillar - ‘Health & Environment’.
He equally urged all the staff of the Wastewater Management Office to offer necessary support to the Heads of the newly created Zones and Units with a view to ensuring that the Agency's overall objectives are achieved.
