APC Lagos Mainland Women Protest Against The Abuse Of Their Leader

The women in Lagos Mainland took to the street with placards and songs, saying "No To women Maltreatment and harrasment".

The protest trend started from oyingbo down to Denton Police station,on getting there the police Dpo Adewale Adegoke attended to the women expressing displeasure over the incident.

The DPO Adewale Adegoke assured the women that justice will prevail in the unfortunate Maltreatment done to the women leader Deaconess Shakirat Kadara in the area.

He further stated that he will traceout the offenders, that women must be respected.

Some of the ward women leaders while speaking to Dconnectnews expressed their displeasure over the incident, they are now appealing to the Apc Apex leaders in Lagos State that thuggery in Lagos Mainland Local Government needs to be critically examined and curbed as soon as possible as its a violent behaviour, especially of a criminal nature during election period.

It will be recalled that the women leader was maltreated on Saturday 1st May 2021 by members of AICG (ADEMOYE INDEPENDENT CAMPAIGN GROUP) while trying to hang the banner of their boss.

  1. The protest is not true. These people are trying to defame the so called Hon Adekunle Ademoye. I am a witness of this issue.
