The birthday celebration of his grace The,Most Reverend Dr.Chibuzo Raphael Opoko,Archbishop of Umahia started with a Eucharistic service at the Wesley Cathedral, 1-3 Crowther Street,by Umuwaya Road Umahia,which was led by his Eminence Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria,His Eminence Dr Samuel Emeka Kanu Uche,the Secretary of Conference Rt.Rev Dr Micheal Akinwale,and other Archbishops and Bishops.
Some of the Notable Guests at the Service were,the Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu,ably represented by his deputy,Rt Hon Use Oko Chukwu,the speaker of Baia State Of Assembly Rt Hon Eng Chinedum Orji,former Governor of Anambra State Mr Peter Obi,Lay president of Conference Sir Folu Aremu,former lay president of Conference Sir Jimmy Coker,and other government officials and parastatals.
The 60th Birthday then proceeded to the reception and Book launching tilted "SOLD OUT" where The Most Revd. Dr Raphael Opoko , The Archbishop of Umuahia, shared his experience in life and testimonies of God's amazing Grace., The book was unveiled and dedicated by His Eminence Dr Samuel C K Uche JP, Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria to the Glory of God,and was supported by top Government Officials which include;Former Governor of Imo State And The Senator Representing Imo West Senatorial District,Owelle Rochas Okorocha,former Governor Of Abia State,and Senator representing Abia North Orji Uzor Kalu and other notable personalities.
