The Methodist Church Archbishop of Lagos, His Lordship Ayo Olawuyi has said that Christmas is about Tolerance and love for Each other .
Olawuyi made the assertion during Christmas service at the Methodist Church Olowogbowo in Apongbon on Friday, where he was speaking with Journalist.
“The same grace that saves us from sin, that gives us something we didn’t merit, sent His son (Jesus) to domicile with us in order to save, liberate, and redeem us.
“We owe it an obligation to make love go round in our nation to be sacrificial, selfless in everything we do.
“If we are patriotic enough, we would realize that we are peculiar people. God has come to share love to humanity, therefore, we should love especially, the less privileged.
“God Almighty descended through His only begotten son (Jesus Christ) so that we may have life and have it more abundantly, so we must share love, kindness, peace, to make the society better,” he said.
Speaking further, His Grace Ayo Olawuyi said Christmas is a gift of God that must be continuous everyday because the grace of God has come to all and its available to eternity, but that Christmas is the day we must celebrate the festivity in it, and that we should always be very happy about it.
