In a bid to fight against the proliferation and spread of Covid-19 pandemic influenza ravaging the world, proactive measure is being taking to curtail the spread of the malignant virus from places like school premises and from the students and pupil's of public schools within the Apapa Iganmu Local government area.
The proactive and indefatigable chairman of Apapa Iganmu Lcda, Hon. (Dr). Funmilayo Akande Muhammed is doing a great deed to make sure the virus is retrenched by reducing the severity risk within the school premises.
The Mayoress who is resolved in making sure that Apapa Iganmu Lcda is free from the deadly virus since the outbreak hasn't stop enlightening people through her daily jingles on radio stations on how to curb this death-dealing disease.
She instructed the head of environment department of the local government council to make sure all public schools are funmigated and should be in readiness for resumption on or before next week Monday.
In her statement during the inspection of fumigation officers, "She also used the privilege to admonished the head of all schools in Apapa Iganmu Lcda to make sure the students adhere to the rules and regulations in avoidance of the deadly virus from circulating by making sure they wash their hands properly with the soap and basin provided and also use their face mask and hand sanitizer at all time."
