Quest Merchant Bank Limited has strengthened its track record in Nigeria’s capital markets following its role as Joint Lead Issuing House on BOI Financing SPV PLC’s ₦250 billion Series 1 Fixed Rate Bond Issuance.
The
Offer, which ran from August 5 to August 11, 2026, was oversubscribed,
reflecting strong institutional investor appetite and confidence in the
transaction. The successful issuance further demonstrates the capacity of
Nigeria’s domestic capital market to mobilize substantial long-term Naira
funding for productive economic activity.
The
five-year Bond was issued under BOI Financing SPV PLC’s US$1 billion
Multi-Currency Instruments Programme and achieved broad participation from
eligible investors. The Bond received AAA ratings from both Agusto & Co.
and Intelligence Africa and will be listed on FMDQ Securities Exchange Limited.
As
Joint Lead Issuing House, Quest Merchant Bank brought its capital markets
expertise, transaction execution capabilities and institutional investor
relationships to the issuance, contributing to the successful mobilization of
long-term funding at scale. The transaction reinforces Quest’s ability to
structure and execute sophisticated capital markets solutions that connect
issuers with institutional investors and support the efficient flow of capital
into the economy.
Commenting
on the transaction, Afolabi Olorode, Managing Director/CEO of Quest
Merchant Bank Limited, said:
“This
transaction goes beyond raising capital. It connects institutional investors
with the real economy and creates a platform that enables Nigerian businesses
to grow, invest and compete. We are particularly pleased to have served as a

the capacity of Nigeria’s capital markets to mobilise long-term funding for
productive activity. At Quest Merchant Bank, we are committed to structuring
