"Akpabio Will Not Return As Senate President" - Primate Ayodele Declares at Book Launch

 

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that the current Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, will not return to the position in 2027.

Primate Ayodele made the declaration on Tuesday during the public presentation and launch of his annual prophecy book, _Warnings To The Nations 2026/2027 Edition_, held at his church in Lagos.

According to the cleric, the leadership of the National Assembly will experience a major shakeup ahead of the 2027 general elections.

"Akpabio will not come back as Senate President in 2027. The Senate will change, new people will come in, and the politics there will change completely. He should pray so that his exit will not be shameful," Primate Ayodele said.

The prophet, who unveiled several prophecies for Nigeria and other nations in the 350-page book, also warned of political realignments within the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, that will affect key positions in government.

Speaking on the book, Primate Ayodele said _Warnings To The Nations 2026/2027_ contains prophecies on politics, economy, security, health, and global affairs. He noted that many of the prophecies in previous editions have already come to pass.

He urged political leaders to take the warnings seriously and seek God’s direction ahead of 2027.

"The book is not to cause fear but to guide leaders and citizens. God is speaking so that Nigeria can be better. 2027 will be a year of surprises in politics," he added.

Senator Akpabio is currently serving as the 15th Senate President of the 10th National Assembly. The Senate President is elected by Senators of the incoming Assembly after general elections.

As of press time, there was no immediate reaction from the office of the Senate President.

The book launch was attended by clerics, politicians, and members of the church.
