Mayor Jubril Emilagba Inaugurates Supervisors and Special Advisers in Lagos Mainland

The Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Mayor Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, has officially sworn in the newly appointed Supervisors and Special Advisers today, Friday, 6th March 2026 to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Local Government.

The Supervisors include Muritala Agbomabini; Usman Temidire Bello; Oduola Olarewaju Isiaka; Badiru Ibrahim Abidemi; Aromashodun Afeez; Wasiu Erikitola; Ho Muhammed; Frank Isik Wuene; Oladimeji Tawakallitu; Kadara Sherifat; Agbaje Gabriel; Gbẹlẹyi Rafiu; Oluwaseun Osibote; Balkis Yussuf; Olofin Oluseye Adekola; and Samuel Oluwaseyi John.

The Chairman,Mayor Jubril Emilagba congratulated the newly sworn-in appointees, noting that their appointments were based on merit, competence, integrity, and their demonstrated commitment to public service. He expressed confidence in their ability to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Local Government.

Mayor Emilagba who described the event as a significant step in strengthening governance and enhancing effective service delivery to the people of Lagos Mainland, he reiterated that his administration remains committed to inclusive governance, transparency, accountability, and people oriented leadership. He also commended the Vice Chairman, members of the Legislative Arm, and the Management Team for their continuous support and dedication toward the progress of the council.

Mayor Emilagba charged the appointees on their new responsibilities and urged them to align with the administration’s policy direction aimed at efficient service delivery, grassroots development, and the overall welfare of the people. He then emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, innovation, and productivity in achieving the goals of the administration.

The Chairman then concluded by assuring the newly sworn-in officials of his full support while urging them to remain committed to service, accountability, and the collective development of Lagos Mainland

Hon Monsuru Alao Owolabi who is one the leaders in the local government adviced the newly sworn-in Supervisors and Special Advisers to remain committed to their duties, work collaboratively, and support the administration’s vision for the continued development of Lagos Mainland.

Hon. Afeez Aromasodun,one of the appointees while speaking with Dconnectnews said the swearing in celebration is a very special day for him and return all glory to God and the leadership of the party,he said his appointment is privilege and call to serve his community and Constituency in all honesty and work closely with the leadership of the local government and diligently and to ensure the progress and development of the community is enshrined.

Dr. Oluseye Olofin another appointee said the executive chairman, Hon. Jubril Emilagba has been working tremendously since inception in office which the members of his constituents should expect more developmental programs that brings meaningful developments to the people, and be rest assured that the new regime is going to bring a total change in their way of life and everybody will be carried along.

In attendance at the ceremony were notable leaders including Hon. Larinde, Hon. Demoye, and Hon. Ajani Owolabi, alongside the Council Leader, the LGA Party Chairman, the Council Manager, and other prominent leaders and members of the Council.

Highpoint of the event was the swaering in and swearing the Oat of Aligience to the leadership of the local government and residents of the community.
