The Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Mayor Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, has officially sworn in the newly appointed Supervisors and Special Advisers today, Friday, 6th March 2026 to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Local Government.
The Supervisors include Muritala Agbomabini; Usman Temidire Bello; Oduola Olarewaju Isiaka; Badiru Ibrahim Abidemi; Aromashodun Afeez; Wasiu Erikitola; Ho Muhammed; Frank Isik Wuene; Oladimeji Tawakallitu; Kadara Sherifat; Agbaje Gabriel; Gbẹlẹyi Rafiu; Oluwaseun Osibote; Balkis Yussuf; Olofin Oluseye Adekola; and Samuel Oluwaseyi John.
The Chairman,Mayor Jubril Emilagba congratulated the newly sworn-in appointees, noting that their appointments were based on merit, competence, integrity, and their demonstrated commitment to public service. He expressed confidence in their ability to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Local Government.
Mayor Emilagba who described the event as a significant step in strengthening governance and enhancing effective service delivery to the people of Lagos Mainland, he reiterated that his administration remains committed to inclusive governance, transparency, accountability, and people oriented leadership. He also commended the Vice Chairman, members of the Legislative Arm, and the Management Team for their continuous support and dedication toward the progress of the council.
Mayor Emilagba charged the appointees on their new responsibilities and urged them to align with the administration’s policy direction aimed at efficient service delivery, grassroots development, and the overall welfare of the people. He then emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, innovation, and productivity in achieving the goals of the administration.
