Dr. Bashiru Bisoye Emilagba, son of Lagos Mainland Local Government Executive Chairman, Mayor Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, is set to unveil a youth-driven initiative ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The platform, titled “The Mainland Youth Agenda (TMYA) for Asiwaju,” is already generating conversations within political and youth circles, as it promises to redefine youth engagement and empowerment.
According to insiders, the initiative is not just about politics, but about real impact, unity, and long-term empowerment for young people.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Dr. Emilagba stated: “This is more than a political movement. It is about building a platform where youths are seen, heard, and empowered — not just for elections, but for life.”
He further emphasized:
“2027 is important, but what matters most is the future we are creating for our youths today. TMYA is about opportunities, growth, and unity.”
The Mainland Youth Agenda (TMYA) is expected to bring together youths across communities, providing them with access to empowerment programs, networking opportunities, and active participation in governance.
With preparations underway, many observers believe this move signals a strategic effort to mobilize and position young people as key stakeholders in the journey toward 2027 and beyond.
More details about the official unveiling are expected to be announced soon.
