In his continuous effort to prioritize the health and welfare of Lagos Mainland residents, the Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Mayor Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, received the management team of Nigella Wellness on a courtesy visit at the council secretariat.
The meeting, which was both engaging and insightful, centered on discussions around possible collaboration to improve healthcare delivery within the local government. The team from Nigella Wellness outlined their plans to organize a comprehensive medical outreach in conjunction with the local government, aimed at offering free medical consultations, basic treatments, and health education to residents across various communities.
Mayor Emilagba, in his remarks, expressed appreciation for the initiative and commended the organization’s commitment to humanitarian service. He reaffirmed that his administration remains steadfast in supporting programs that enhance the quality of life of the people, particularly in areas of health, education, and social welfare.
He further emphasized that the well being of the people remains at the center of his administration’s policies and assured the visiting team of the council’s full cooperation towards the success of the proposed outreach. According to him, partnerships such as this are in line with the Renewed Hope agenda of the present administration and reflect the spirit of community driven governance that Lagos Mainland Local Government is known for.
The visit ended on a promising note as both parties agreed to work out modalities for the outreach, which will soon be announced officially. With Mayor Emilagba’s proactive leadership style, residents can look forward to yet another impactful initiative that will bring quality healthcare closer to the grassroots.
