The Chief Executive Officer of Squard Media Group, Mr. Quadri Olowolagba, has joined other eminent Nigerians and cultural enthusiasts in congratulating His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, CFR, the Ooni of Ife, on the grand celebration of the 2025 Olojo Festival. The media executive also extended his warm greetings to Amb. Princess Dr. Toyin Kolade, the Iyalaje Oodua Worldwide, for her steadfast support in promoting Yoruba culture and tradition.

In a statement released in Lagos, Mr. Olowolagba described the Olojo Festival as one of the most spiritually significant and culturally enriching events in Yoruba land. He commended the Ooni for his unwavering commitment to preserving and promoting the values of the Yoruba heritage, not just in Nigeria but across the globe. According to him, the Ooni's leadership has brought renewed global attention to the sacred traditions of Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yoruba people.

"The Olojo Festival is a powerful symbol of our spiritual and cultural identity as a people," Olowolagba stated. "Under the divine leadership of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi, the festival has grown in scope and influence, fostering peace, unity, and cultural pride among the Yoruba and beyond."

Mr. Olowolagba also used the occasion to recognize the remarkable efforts of Amb. Princess Toyin Kolade, describing her as a tireless cultural ambassador and passionate promoter of Yoruba traditions. As the Iyalaje Oodua Worldwide, Princess Kolade has played a pivotal role in organizing and supporting the successful hosting of the Olojo Festival over the years.

“Princess Toyin Kolade continues to be a beacon of cultural advocacy, using her platform to celebrate Yoruba identity and empower women across the region,” Olowolagba said. “Her contributions to the success of Olojo Festival cannot be overstated. She is a true daughter of the soil and a pride to the Yoruba race.”

The media boss further emphasized the need for continued investment in cultural heritage and traditional institutions, noting that festivals like Olojo serve as a reminder of the richness of Nigeria’s diversity. He called on the younger generation to embrace their roots and learn from the wisdom of their forebears.

Mr. Olowolagba concluded his message by praying for His Imperial Majesty’s long life, divine wisdom, and enduring reign.
