From Lagos to Africa: Women With a Mission Conference 2025 Targets Growth and Collaboration



        


                          
Woman with a Mission Africa, a leading pan-African organization committed to fostering unity, innovation, and empowerment across the continent, is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of its annual Women with a Mission Conference, scheduled to take place on November 20th and 21st, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria.

This year’s theme, “Enhancing Africa's Worth Through Economic Integration by Driving Change, Growth, Innovation, and Collaborations,” reflects Mission Africa’s vision to strengthen partnerships, promote trade integration, and build sustainable pathways that drive Africa’s collective prosperity.
                                                
In preparation for the landmark event, the Woman with a Mission Africa team embarked on high-level familiarization and partnership visits to key stakeholders within government and the private sector. These include:

The Special Adviser on Climate Change and Sustainability to the Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Titilayo Oshodi, who lauded the initiative and pledged her support.

The Special Adviser on Tourism, Arts and Culture to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Idris Aregbe, who commended the initiative and expressed the state’s willingness to support the vision of fostering economic growth through collaboration.

The Managing Director of Bayobab, Mrs. Josephine Sarouk, who pledged institutional support towards the success of the conference.
Mrs. Josephine Sarouk, a respected industry leader, who affirmed her commitment to ensuring the platform drives practical outcomes for women and Africa at large.

The Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Mojisola Lasbat Meranda who not only endorsed the event but also confirmed participation, emphasizing the importance of synergy between Nigeria, South Africa, and other African countries in strengthening trade and economic ties.


The endorsements from these prominent leaders underscore the growing recognition of Mission Africa’s role in shaping a forward-looking agenda for Africa’s integration and innovation-driven growth.


Speaking on the significance of the conference, Mrs. Temitope Victoria Adasonla, the Founder of Mission Africa, noted:

“This year’s Women with a Mission Conference is more than just a gathering — it is a bold call to action for African leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to collaborate, share ideas, and build systems that advance our continent’s economic integration. We are creating a platform where trade, innovation, and women-led growth intersect to shape the Africa we want.”

The two-day conference will convene policymakers, business leaders, development partners, and women changemakers from across Africa to discuss actionable strategies for driving trade integration, scaling innovation, and fostering inclusive growth.
