Dacurate, a leading data-driven social
impact organization, is delighted to announce the second edition of one of its
flagship event, the Dacurate Primary School Quiz. The event is set to take
place on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, at the Agip Hall, Muson Centre, Lagos,
bringing together the brightest primary school pupils from across the state in
a celebration of knowledge, teamwork, and leadership.
Building on the resounding success of last year’s edition at
the Oriental Hotel, which featured an impressive array of special guests and
enthusiastic participation from schools, the 2025 Primary School Quiz will host
over 200 pupils from both public and private institutions. The competition aims
to foster critical thinking, confidence, and a passion for learning among
Nigeria’s youngest scholars.
Last year’s edition was graced by distinguished guests
including Tunji Bello, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Federal Competition
and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), and Adebisi Adeyemi, MD/CEO of DCSL
Corporate Services Ltd. The panel of judges featured notable personalities such
as Mitchel Ukachukwu, Miss Universe Nigeria 2023, Dr. Yetunde Anibaba, Senior
Lecturer at Lagos Business School, and Olufemi Adeniba, Executive Director of
Sustmark Consult. Their expertise and presence contributed greatly to the
event’s credibility and excitement.
This year’s event will feature a distinguished panel of
judges from the education and corporate sectors, with past editions graced by
notable personalities. The guest of honour will be the First Lady of Lagos
State, Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, whose commitment to youth development
continues to inspire. The keynote address will be delivered by the Lagos State
Commissioner of Health, who will share insights on the role of education in
building a healthier society.
