7TH EDITION OF THE GTCO FASHION WEEKEND BEGINS THIS WEEKEND

The very much anticipated GTCO Fashion Weekend will kickstart this weekend the 9th & 10th November 2024 at the plot 1 water corporation drive,Oniru,VI,Lagos,this was made known at a press briefing to sensitive the press on the activities of the fashion weekend at their headquarters in Lagos.

The 7th edition of the fashion weekend with the theme "Fashion Moves Forward" will be having exciting packages including,Masterclasses,Runway,Sales &Exhibition and Streetwear with designers all over the world.

The Group Executive Officer of Guaranty Trust Holdings Company plc,Mr Segun Agbaje in his welcome address said the vision for the fashion weekend remains promoting enterprise,providing a platform that supports small businesses, the community and brings Africa's vast creativity to the forefront,and also telling stories of heritage,culture,and personal identity, through the universal language of fashion.

Agbaje went futher that "as we celebrate this edition,let us also reflect on the broader impact of African fashion on the world" and the bank's commitment to African Fashion goes beyond the event and remains dedicated to promoting creativity,empowering entrepreneurs, and ensuring that the world continues to recognise the incredible potential of African fashion.

This year's Runway lineup will feature for Day 1,Saturday, November 9th,2024,
Gert Johan Coetzee;Onalaja;Orire;Hue by Idera;Romeo Hunte and Sukeina,and on Sunday,November 10th,2024 will feature,Eric Raisina;Selly Raby Kane;Ituen Bassey;Tolu Coker;Xu Zhi,and Laquan Smith which it promised to be very exciting.
