Stanbic IBTC Empowers Women at the Bloom Weekend






Financial giant, Stanbic IBTC, hosted Bloom targeted at sensitizing Women on how to be able standout and be on there own to be fully bloom at the Landmark event centre in Lagos today 27th July 2024. 

The program is also aimed at promoting well being, financial independence, and Weekend Programme  that is targeted entrepreneurial success among women.

The Executive Director Stanbic IBTC pension Manager Mrs.Nike Bajomo in her remark said the primary goal is to celebrate, empower and inspire women within the vibrant Blue Blossom community.  Mrs Bajomo said as part of the activities making the first Bloom Weekend, the ladies at the table empowerment series (LATTES) stands out as a landmark event dedicated to forging meaningful connections and fostering growth.

She went further that the essence of Bloom Weekend and LATTES is empowerment and the aim inaddittion to meaningful discussions for the advancement of women and to actively bridge between women's aspirations and their tangible achievements. 

She then said that the collaborative environment of the Stanbic IBTC Bloom Weekend can spark meaningful change by providing a space where influential figures and attendees can engage in open dialogue and aim to inspire attendees to take bold steps towards their conversation initiated are meant to reach beyond grounds. 

The Keynote speaker Mrs. Bunmi Oke the CEO Consultant Lady Bird Limited emphasize on the strength,unity of women and support each other and not to be afraid to lift themselves, packaging themselves very well. She went further to plan their steps and must be specific and be measurable and advised all the women to take advantage of their dream and be incharge of their life.

Members of the panelists session which comprises of Mrs Eugenia Abu Broadcast Journalist,media consultant, Olaide Omotosho Ikuru,Media Practitioner Health Kinect Clinic,Nike Folagbade,Family Life Coach and Councillor,Oluwadamilola Dada Associate Director,Pwc encouraged women to expose themselves with knowledge and embrace new opportunities.

Ore Macaulay serenedes participants with lovely poetry on how women can blossom and to welcome each new day and be outstanding. 

Mrs. Edidion Akpan in her closing remark urge all participants to carry the spirit of "With her. For her" into their lives,work and communities.  She went further that the participants should continue advocating for women's empowerment, championing equality and break barriers.
