Of the five (5) Indigenous Divisions in Lagos State, Lagos Island, Epe and Ikeja remain well represented as usual. But as is so often the case, Badagry and Ikorodu are not represented in principal positions within the Lagos State Government structure.
The Argument used to be that their contributions at the polls and in other critical matters of State usually fell below what is required.
The 2023 polls have come and gone and the results from Badagry and Ikorodu compares favorably amongst the very best in the State.
What more has to be done for these two Divisions to claim their dues?
What principal positions will be allotted to these divisions in the next administration?
When would the two divisions enjoy the shared power distribution in Lagos State?
