The management of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), on Saturday, 11th of March, 2023, in addition to its effort of delivering quality health care to the victims of the Lagos Train-Bus accident which happened on Thursday, 9th of March, 2023, donated and distributed some welfare packages to patients in the ward. This gesture, which is an extension of Mr. Governor' Babajide Sanwo-Olu's benevolence, is intended to add value to the overall care of these patients.
The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adetokunbo O. Fabamwo, was represented at the occasion by a Deputy Director Nursing Services (DDNS) and Head of Nursing Department in LASUTH, DDNS Adebola Aina. She made the presentation alongside her team to 41patients in LASUTH.
While appreciating the hospital management, the beneficiaries heartily thanked Mr. Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his magnanimity towards ensuring all the patients get swift medical attention from the best professionals in the state, at no cost.
The donated items include, toilet bags with soaps, soap cases, sponges, tooth paste and brushes, medium size towels, cups and spoons.
