Abuja prize winners relish Glo Festival of Joy promo

Winners of different prizes at the Abuja presentation on Friday, November 18, 2022, were ecstatic with joy and gratitude as network operator, Globacom, made good its promise in the ongoing Festival of Joy promo.

Kuje-based Automobile Engineer,  Adeosun Adedayo, who became the owner of a brand new Kia car enthused that his dream of owning a brand new car had been fulfilled with the Glo loyalty reward promo. Said he: "I never had a premonition of this coming at this time, even though I opted to participate in the promo. Dr Mike Adenuga and Globacom have proven to be real 'talk and do masters' who have changed my life. Nothing compares to a brand new car".

He, like many other winners, did not believe the news when he received the first call informing him of the car prize. The 42-year-old father of two screamed in excitement causing instant jubilation among his colleagues at the Mechanic Village.

For Aruwa Samuel, a policeman with the FCT Command of The Nigeria Police Force, the story was quite the same. The man eulogized Globacom for the prize as he proudly gave his brand new sewing machine won in the promo to his wife who, incidentally, is a tailor with only one sewing machine.

Winners of Rechargeable Fans gave kudos to Globacom for alleviating the discomfort occasioned by the heat wave which pervades the country in the midst of shortage of electricity supply. One of them, Tamar Yahaya, an Entrepreneur from Kaduna said, Globacom "has solved the problem of coping with heat, especially at night when I desire sound sleep and there is poor power supply. Now, sleep can be fun again for me".

The Regional Manager in charge of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and Nassarawa, Mr. Kemi Kaka, noted that Globacom has always initiated several promotional activities that have become harbingers of joy to its myriad of loyal subscribers.

Said he, "Two days ago, we began the process of presenting prizes to winners of Festival of Joy promotion. The first house winner, Ibrahim Akindele, who is a student of Ekiti State University, took possession of a three-bedroom house in Ibadan. Just yesterday, several subscribers who also emerged winners in the Ibadan area also went home with their prizes including brand-new car, power generators, sewing machines, and rechargeable fans.

He charged subscribers to dial *611# to participate in the promo explaining,   "Subscribers are required to recharge with N500 weekly to win the rechargeable fans, N2,500 monthly recharge for the sewing machine, N5,000 monthly recharge for the generator and N10,000 monthly recharge for the car. To win a 3-bedroom apartment, customers should make data subscription(s) of at least N20, 000 during the promo period".
