felicitations and greetings to my Christian brothers and sisters across Lagos Mainland federal constituency, and indeed all Lagosians on this auspicious occasion of Easter celebrations in memory of the legendary spirit of sacrifice and selflessness espoused and exhibited by Jesus Christ.
I would like to appeal to my Christian brothers and sisters to see the celebration as a period for sober reflection on what Jesus Christ stood and died for, rededicate yourselves to strong christian ideals of Easter celebration, because Jesus Christ came to earth with a message of hope, while his love and compassion reached out to everyone.
even the downtrodden in the society.
To my christian brothers and sisters saddled with leadership positions , i enjoin you to show love, generosity, magnanimity and desire to make a change in people's lives because the examplary virtues of Jesus Christ should be emulated in the people's daily lives as he lived and died for the remission of sins and to guarantee our freedom as partners in progress.
During this period and after, let us be our brother's keeper and make necessary sacrifices. for our fellow country. men and women because Easter symbolised sacrifice and service to God and humanity.
