A stalwart of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Honorable Igbaleye Ayodele Wasiu (IWA) has given out scholarships to two primary school pupils of Ebenezer Primary School, Saje Abeokuta the Ogun State Capital.
In a press statement made available to newsmen by his media adviser, Adeyemi Obadimu, said part of IWA's philanthropic gesture is to sponsor pupils whose parents are not financially bouyant.
IWA who was represented by Kabiru Olajide at the school assured that "I will sponsor Muideen Yusuf and Muibat Yusuf's education from primary 1-6 and will also support them with school bags and uniform".
"He noted that some people might think he's doing this because of politics, but revealed that this is what have been doing before ventured into politics. "We need to give our children quality and sound education and all fingers are not equal that is why i always dim it fit to pick some people around me who are not capable enough and give them my small support," IWA added.
