One of the biggest gospel music concerts in Africa, The Experience, is set to hold tonight.
The concert hosted by the Metropolitan Senior Pastor of the House on The Rock Pastor Paul Adefarasin, will witness performances from Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Nathaniel Bassey, Travis Greene, Sinach, Dunsin Oyekan, Donnie McClurkin, Kike Mudiaga and Planetshakers.
Others include Tim Godfrey, Eben, Mercy Chinwo, William McDowell, Chevelle Franklyn, Chandler Moore and Segun Obe.
Addressing journalist in Lagos Adefarasin said the 16th edition of the concert will take place at the Rock Cathedral, Lekki, and this will be hybrid event that will be streamed virtually and around the world including south America, Asia, Australia and the united kingdom.
He said: “it is our earnest hope that The Experience 16 global, will herald a new season of goodwill, good cheer and gracious new beginnings for Nigeria and the world.”
He went further that The Experience continues to be a huge driver of diverse kingdom culture and creative industry, influencing positive ideological shifts,shaping identities,stimulating innovation forging meaningful relationships and collaborative endeavours, and fostering economic liberation.
The Experience which began in December 2006 and attracts crowd, has grown exponentially over the years.
Last year’s edition of the event was streamed online due to restrictions put in place by the government to contain the spread of COVID-19
