The Chairman, Apapa Iganmu LCDA Hon Dr. Olufunmilayo Akande Mohammed has expressed her delight in giving back to the society as promised during her electoral campaign.

The Chairman made the remark at the presentation of 21 Keke Napeps for the youths in apapa iganmu environs.


 The Chairman during her address said the landmark achievement will reduce poverty, aid financial stability and reduce crime,she went further that the beneficiaries were picked across all the ward and Lcda and a committee was set up to constitute people of integrity and astitute politicians who knows where the shoe pinches.

 She also noted that the Keke Napep is given for free and should not be sold by the beneficiaries for the income made in the business can take care of their families.

 In her word, she said the 100 days celebration continue with many palliatives and Community oriented programmes,poverty Alleviation, free health mission, free eye glasses,treatment of minor ailment,youth empowerment, 156 youths trained and will be empowered by giving points of sales machines POS chairs,tables,umbrella and cash gifts to start the business. The aged are not left out ,the vulnerable,the petty traders, Artisans will be given cash gifts and machines to do their businesses.









 The council manager Mrs Morounkeji Okwuonu advised the beneficiaries to use the keke napep as if they laboured to get it for the benefits of their families and the community inother to makeup for the purpose for which the empowerment was made.





 One of the beneficiaries of the Keke Napep is a man with disability which he said,is very happy with the kind gesture the Chairman showed to him and the other beneficiaries, he also advised the other Beneficiaries to make use of what the Chairman gave them well inother to be self employed and use the money gained to buy many more for business.

The 100 days celebration continues next week which activities has lined up for the week.
