In a bid to promote and propagate peaceful coexistence irrespective of tribe, culture, beliefs and values, the Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has urged Church leaders to use their God given position to promote holiness,peace and tranquility among the members of Congregation and their community.
Making this assertion at the 50th Anniversary Interdenominational Service of Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Surulere District Ayo Ni O in Surulere Lagos, Governor Sanwo Olu, Represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Christain Matters Very. Reverend. Bukola Adeleke urged Members to rededicate themselves to responsibility bestowed on them as Christains.
He stressed that more importantly, imploring Spiritual Fathers in the Lord to Rise on the Occasion by showing more steadfastness and use your God given position to promote peace and tranquility ".
He rejoiced with the District Chairman Senior Special Apostle Sunday Korode,the Elders and the entire congregation on the occasion which is in a fulfilment of the Word of God in Psalm 100 Vs 1&2 and 4&5.
He said as they Celebrate their golden Jubilee will usher in a new beginning of greater achievement in the Lord vineyard for the leadership and members of the great movement, their Labour of love will not be in Vein and their work in the Vineyard of God will not go unrewarded.
The Governor then reassured the Church that as a government they are committed in making the economy work for all,ensure security of lives and property of all Lagosians foster atmosphere that is conducive for everyone to live in and engage in their legimate activities without fear.
The General Leader and District Chairman C&S Ayo Ni O Senior Special Apostle Propeht Sunday Korode in his welcome address said Cherubim &Seraphim Movement Church Ayo Ni O are looking at the many souls that have been called and chosen through this Church and remained faithful regardless of the situation.
He said they are indeed very grateful to God for his exceeding love demonstrated in giving us Christ Jesus.
