The Methodist Church Nigeria under the leadership of his Eminence Dr. Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria and the Secretary of Conference The Rt.Rev.Micheal Akinwale ordinates Ministers as priest in the presence of the Church.
The Ordination service which was held at Hoares Memorial Methodist Church Yaba was well attended by Archbishops,Bishops,the wife Of the Prelate Mrs Nneoma Uche,family,friends and well wishers of the ministers allover Country.
129 ministers were ordained which his Eminence Dr.Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche charged them to be honest,faithful, prayerful,deligent,dogged and to also love their members.
The prelate also encouraged them to always see themselves as servant of christ,follow the examples of Jesus christ and they will succeed in their endeavours.
Some of the newly ordained ministers while speaking to Dconnectnews said they will make a difference while discharging their duties,which the Methodist Conference has boosted their morale for the great work ahead.
The Newly Ordained Ministers Solemnely declared in the presence of the leaders of the Church and the congregation while The Secretary of Conference Methodist Church Nigeria The .Rt.Rev Dr.Micheal Akinwale presented to the Prelate the names of the Newly Ordained Ministers which His Eminence Dr Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche Ordained them to be addressed as "The Reverend".
The presentation of crosses, bible and certificate formed the highpoint of the event.
