The Balogun of Ajiran, Alhaji Yekini Bakare urged the Muslims community in Ajiran to live in unity, follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and eschew acts capable of destabilising peaceful coexistence in the community.

Balogun Bakare gave this advice at the 2021 Eid-el-Kabir prayer at Ojomu Praying Ground, Ajiran.

While speaking with Dconnectnews, the community leader noted that everything that's difficult will still get better. We must embrace peace and patience. "The Eid celebration is a lesson time for all. We must understand that every difficult thing will get better. We should embrace each and know that all difficulties will go away later and joy will come."

Alhaji Bakare also called on Muslim faithfuls to be truthful, patient and share with others, adding that we are blessed to always share with the less-privileged and there are many benefits in helping the poor.

"I urge us to share with others, have patience and be truthful as there are many benefits with that. "

He also counselled youths to "calm down, grow with time, shun the urge to desperately seek ill wealth, adding that all citizens should care for public property."

The Chief Imam of Ajiran led the congregation in prayers for the country, President Muhammadu Buhari, his government, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu and his team as well as the monarchs and people in the Ajiran communities.

The monarch, Ojomu of Ajiran land, Oba Tijani Akinloye (Sateru II), also thanked Almighty Allah for his favours and grace on the people and called for more tolerance and forgiveness.
