Ibrahim Lekan Promises Continuing in Governance For Coker Aguda

The youngest chairmanship candidate in Coker Aguda local government in Lagos State, under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibrahim Rasaq lekan has vowed to continue where the present administration stopped when elected into office.

 

Ibrahim Rasaq Lekan who won APC Primary election in an interview with NEWSEXTRA promised to run Coker Aguda local government successfully by involving critical stakeholders in his administration.

''I will listen to my leaders to guide and lead me on the right path as the youngest chairmanship candidate. The present chairman had lay a very good foundation, so existing infrastructure will not be neglected during my tenure and more roads will be done in Orile.

Ibrahim said he will promote peace and unity  among the leaders,  masses and the elders in the local government.  

Speaking on his plan for the council, Ibrahim said all areas are very important to touch but job opportunity will be paramount for the youth due to lack of job in the country. 

''I have discussed with some companies already that will teach our people how to repair laptop and phone so that they can be self independent and it will help to boost small scale business and unemployment'' Ibrahim added.

He noted that: ''However we also have plan to support the ages and widows, everyone is important as I am going to carry them along and take good care of them in our own capacity.

Ibrahim noted that education is one of the things that is important as we are planning to sanitize all the loopholes because the world is going advance and we need to bring more technology to schools within the community, educating our students on rapists and sexual abuse will also be major in my administration.

Also the community healthcare centers will never be neglected as we will bring more equipment to all the local government centers for proper health care.

Ibrahim hinted thay proper monitoring of projects will taken serious in order to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

According to him, we are going to employee people that will be in charge to monitor all this good deeds time to time so that they can always guide us and call our attention to where necessary.
