A Leading Chairmanship Aspirant for Yewa North Local Government on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) - Hon Kehinde Akinde has urged the Muslim community to uphold their obedience to Allah in the spirit of forgiveness for one another.
Akinde, in his goodwill message signed by his his media consultant Comrade Seun Odunlami charged Muslims “to expand the spiritual benefits of the Sallah by ensuring a world of peaceful co-existence devoid of violence”, as they celebrate the Eid- el- Fitri.
“They must use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri to demonstrate that the world is united by one common humanity.”
Akinde urged ‘Muslims and every patriotic Nigerian’ to pray fervently for those things that would promote unity of the country, and against things that threaten the existence of Nigeria.
Hon Kehinde Akinde prayed that “Allah should grant Muslims and Nigerians victory for acceptable heart desires.”
