Opeluwa Onido Celebrates 2021 Elegba Ejiwa Festival

Ilogbo,a community situated on the Mainland Axis Ebute Metta to be precised in Lagos state came alive for the annual Elegba Ejiwa festival.

Ilogbo community members,friends and well wishers all gathered at the Agbo Elegba Iddo Olofin headquarters to celebrate this years Elegba Ejiwa festival to appease the diety for the unity and progress of the nation.

The trail started from the head of the Ilogbo Elegba Ejiwa festival Chief Lateef Ajose,the Opeluwa Of Lagos, The Ojora Of Lagos Oba Fatai Aremu Ojora,The Elegushi of Lagos Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi,The Oniru Of Lagos Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal,and other white cap chiefs.

The Ojora of Lagos Oba Fatai Aremu Ojora while speaking Dconnectnews said after all the festival Nigerians will witness changes in all the challenges being faced in the country.

One of the member of the Ojora Ruling House Dr Tunde Elegbede added that Ilogbo Area is the origin of all the Awori's in Nigeria at large,he said Olofin is being celebrated but is popularly called Elegba Ejiwa festival.

Women were not leftout of the festival as they were seen singing and dancing and also paying homage to royal fathers.

Members of the community were very happy to celebrate the 2021 Elegba Ejiwa festival as they were seen singing and dancing to appease the diety.
