LNSC CHAIRMAN BAGS FELLOWSHIP AWARD OF SECURITY INSTITUTE



The Chairman, Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC), DIG Israel Ajao (Rtd) has been elected as a distinguished fellow of the prestigious Institute of Security, Nigeria.

A notification letter signed by the Director-General, Institute of Security, Nigeria, Barrister Adebayo Akinade, stated that the award was bestowed in recognition of the retired DIG's noble contributions to the promotion of leadership, good governance, quality security and safety culture for the development of humanity and mankind in Nigeria.

In his words: "We have the honour and pleasure to inform you that the Board of the Institute of Security, Nigeria, had accepted the recommendation of the Award Committee to elect you as Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Security, Nigeria, in accordance with the provisions of Article 3.2 of the Association." 

Barrister Adebayo Akinade stated that the Institute was inspired and motivated by Ajao's outstanding leadership qualities and selfless drive for competence and achievements as an astute administrator and achiever in the course of his career. 

While noting that the fellowship status is reserved for accomplished professionals at a high-level position in the security profession, the Director-General expressed hope that the retired DIG will continue to participate in the Institute’s activities to achieve a distinct image of professionalism in Security, Safety, Protection Services and Good Governance in the nation. 

The Institute of Security, Nigeria, is an organisation committed to the enhancement and promotion of a culture of quality security, increased effectiveness and productivity, through the best practices in security and protection services.
