As part of his working visit to the Diocese of Ifaki in Ekiti State, His Eminence Dr Samuel C. K. Uche, JP, Prelate, Methodist Church Nigeria also dedicated the new Church building of The Rev J. O. Abe Memorial Methodist Church Ayegunle-Ekiti, in a Service of Dedication held at the Church building on Wednesday 18th November, 2020.
His Eminence was assisted by His Grace, Most Rev Amos O. Akindeko,
Archbishop of Ilesa, Most Rev. Obafemi B. Adeleye, Archbishop of Lagos-Mainland; Most Rev S. L. Ayo. Ladigbolu, retired Archbishop of Ilesa; Rt. Rev Sunday J. Aluko Phd, Bishop of Ifaki; Rt. Rev. David F. Adekoya, Bishop of Okun and other ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The church was in remembrance of The Rev. J. O. Abe, the first member and Methodist minister from the town.
